Born and bred in Sydney Australia, he shifted to Alice Springs where he qualified as a cabinet maker and did a stint of milking.
Moved to Hawera approximately thirty-five years ago and now lives in Patea.
He joined the Club in 1985 and became a very competent and prolific turner, woodworker and artist who freely passed on his knowledge to others in the club.
Frank built and donated the cabinet used in the school woodwork cupboard to store supplies, and at several of the AGMs he provided meat for the raffle.
A quietly spoken gentleman who freely gave his time and expertise.
